Hany Michail

Venture Partner

Dr. Hany Michail is a Venture Partner with BioAdvance. He is an Ophthalmologist with a doctorate in biomedical engineering.

Dr. Michail started his academic training in biomedical engineering with a BS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, followed by an MD and PhD from Rutgers University. He completed his Ophthalmology clinical training at the Washington University in St. Louis.

In addition to practicing ophthalmology, Dr. Michail has held academic and senior corporate positions in the medical device and pharmaceutical industries and has driven many products through the development and approval process to ultimately benefit physicians and patients around the globe.
