The Greater Philadelphia Bioinformatics Alliance is developing a network to foster collaboration between academia and industry. The network will integrate and synthesize talent and resources across disciplinary boundaries and through institutional walls, bringing together know-how in science, technology, management, and finance.

The Alliance will sponsor regular forums to provide updates on the latest advances in the field and related disciplines. The Alliance will also soon be launching a web-based portal to distribute information between academic and industry partners, providing access to teaching and research activities of Alliance members, regional job opportunities in bioinformatics, as well as other local and national bioinformatics activities and funding opportunities.
