Marie Lindner, M.D., Entrepreneur-in-Residence and Venture Partner

Marie LindnerDr. Marie Lindner is a biotechnology industry executive with nearly 20 years of experience in the business, regulatory, and clinical aspects of pharmaceutical and biotech companies. She has been consulting in biotechnology strategy, medical and regulatory affairs, and business development for the past 15 months for numerous clients.

Dr. Lindner served previously as SVP, Medical & Business Affairs at Isolagen (2005-2006), an autologous cellular therapy company focused on dermatology. Prior to Isolagen, she served as VP, Strategic Business Development at BTG International (2003-2005); and served as Vice President, Medical Market Strategy, Elan Drug Delivery (2000-2003). Prior to 2000, Dr. Lindner was Group Director, Alliance & Technology Group at SmithKline Beecham (now GlaxoSmithKline) (1998-2000).

Dr. Lindner also worked from 1990 to 1998 in various roles at Rhône-Poulenc Rorer, including clinical development, cardiovascular group; various functions in the gene and cell therapy division, Gencell, and finally, as a licensing executive in the worldwide business development group. Her areas of expertise include cardiovascular drugs, gene and cellular therapies, drug delivery, aesthetic dermatology, wound care, anti-infectives, among others. She is a Founder of Embera NeuroTherapeutics, a start-up biotech company focused on treatment of addiction, maintaining the role of President, and continues in her consulting practice, BioValue Creation, LLC. She has consulted for BioAdvance since 2007.
